The cap is applied by deforming the cap on the bottle neck, with the help of closing cone. Capper is designed of multi capping stations placed on a rotating carousel, allowing capping of multiple bottles at the same time in continues motion, without stopping.
Method of operation:
After the caps have been sorted according to their positions in the bowl sorter, the caps are feed to the capper via an open chute, in the closing head with the closing cone, of the capping stations. Filled bottles are transferred in the turret, under the capping station, with the help of a star-wheel. When bottle is under the capping unit, the closing head with cap will descent to the bottle and begin the cap application process. The bottle neck will push the cap up in the closing cone, and will deform the cap so, that will clamp the bottle neck. Capping head will lift, and capped bottles are transported from the turret with the help of a star wheel. All the components motions are cam operated, allowing repeatability of capping process on all the bottles.
