Method of operation  – Ring-pull crown capping:

Caps are loaded in the vibrating hopper – feeder, where are correctly positioned, and distributed into the in a towing shoe. From there are directly picked up by filled bottle, when being transported with the help of a star-wheel trough the capper, in a smooth step motion. When bottle with applied cap is under the capping unit, the closing head with cap will descent to the bottle, and clamping cone will clamp the cap and deform the cap so, that will clamp the bottle neck. Capping head will lift, and bottle is transported from the turret with the help of a same star wheel. All the components’ motions are cam operated, allowing repeatability of capping process on all the bottles.

Main features:

  • Vibrating cap sorter-feeder mounted on top of the machine.
  • Cap descending chute with minimum cap level sensor.
  • Towing shoe mounted on chute.
  • Bottle transfer star-wheel with smooth step motion.
  • Closing head with the clamping cone made of hardened steel.
  • Manual height adjustment of the top part of the capper, with height indicator.
