Automatic BiB filler
Automatic SRAML bag-in-box (BIB) fillers enable high-speed volumetric filling of a wide range of pumpable products into single bags with 1-inch spouts.
SRAML bag-in-box filling machines are essential to any bag in box filling and packaging line and offer a variety of upgrade options to meet the needs of your production.
The operator inserts an empty bag into the spout holder and activates the filling sequence. The system locks the bag in place, removes the cap and inserts the product valve. Any residual air is removed by the vacuum and the product flow begins by means of the integral pump. When the bag is filled to the desired volume, the product flow is shut off, nitrogen can be puffed, the bag is recapped and the operator takes the filled bag from the holder.
The filling head can be moved automatically or manually. SRAML ABB and RBB fillers allow you to work with a wide range of different caps and bag spout shapes by simply replacing the format parts. Constructed with a double table system, the top table surface is a bar grid allowing the liquid to drain without coming into contact with any of the machine’s components in case of product spillage. The top table can be adjusted by height and inclination so the level of the liquid in the bag can be regulated before closing with no space in the bag left.
SRAML bag-in-box filling machines are equipped with the cleaning-in-place (CIP) technology enabling superior hygiene and sanitization program selected in the “washing menu”.
It allows the use of different elements such as flowmeter, pump and buffer tank, depending on the filling application. Available with single or double head, the automatic high-speed BIB filler ABB is designed for production facilities in pursuit of efficiency, reliability and high-quality filling. All parameters are adjustable, allowing complete flexibility and control over the filling process.
Once the operator sets the bag in place and presses the START button, the ABB filling machine automatically performs the complete cycle: bag opening, pre-vacuuming to remove all the air from the bag, product filling with the possibility of nitrogen (inert gas) injection, and closing. Filled and capped, the bag is manually removed from the machine.
