Winemaking Solutions

SRAML provides comprehensive winemaking technology for small, medium and growing wineries. Our equipment covers grape reception, must extraction and juice handling, ensuring gentle processing, consistent results and full support of modern winemaking practices. What does SRAML offer for wineries? For wineries, SRAML provides equipment and lines from grape reception to must extraction and juice handling, including: Grape reception hoppers and bin tippers Sorting systems and belt conveyors Destemmers and crushers Pneumatic grape presses (open, closed and inertgas models) Vertical basket presses Pumps, tanks and auxiliary equipment What is a SRAML pneumatic wine press and where is it used? A SRAML pneumatic press is a membrane press that gently extracts juice or wine from grapes using compressed air instead of mechanical screws. It is used in wineries that need high-quality must extraction with optimized cycle times and gentle product handling. What is the difference between a pneumatic press and a vertical basket press? A pneumatic press uses a membrane to gently press grapes with compressed air, providing high juice quality and precise control.A vertical basket press uses mechanical pressure with a basket to extract juice in a more traditional, slow and gentle process, ideal for delicate grape varieties or small-batch production. Can SRAML winemaking equipment handle small and large wineries? Yes. SRAML pneumatic and vertical basket presses are adjustable for different grape types, juice yields, and batch sizes. This ensures gentle handling for delicate grapes, consistent quality across varieties, and flexibility for both small and large production runs. How does SRAML ensure hygienic operation and easy cleaning of winemaking equipment? SRAML winemaking equipment is designed with hygiene in mind, using stainless steel construction and smooth product-contact surfaces.Where applicable, systems include CIP (Clean-In-Place) options, automated canal washing for presses, and easy-to-access components for fast and thorough cleaning.

Juice, Cider & Fruit Processing

SRAML designs complete processing lines for fresh fruit, juice and cider production. Our systems cover washing, sorting, milling, extraction, clarification, pasteurization and filling, enabling producers to create high-quality beverages from apples, berries, stone fruit and mixed fruit blends. What solutions does SRAML provide for fruit juice and cider production? SRAML designs lines that cover the entire process from fresh fruit to packaged juice or cider: Fruit intake, washing and sorting Crushing or milling and mash handling Belt presses or other juice extraction systems Juice clarification and treatment Pasteurization Bag-in-Box or bottle filling and packaging Which products can be processed on SRAML juice lines? SRAML juice lines are suitable for apples, pears, berries, stone fruit and other fruits and vegetables, as well as blends and purées, depending on line configuration. Is SRAML suitable for new juice or cider start-ups? Yes. SRAML has many solutions designed specifically for small and medium producers, making it suitable for new projects that need scalable equipment and reliable support when entering the juice or cider business.

Bottling, Monoblocks & Packaging

SRAML bottling solutions include compact monoblocks, modular filling systems and Bag-in-Box equipment for a wide range of beverages. Designed for precision, hygiene and ease of use, our filling and packaging technologies support glass, PET and aluminium containers with multiple closure options. What is a SRAML monoblock? A SRAML monoblock is a compact machine that combines several bottling functions—typically rinsing, filling and capping—into a single synchronized unit. Monoblocks reduce required floor space, energy consumption and operator involvement compared to separate machines connected by conveyors. For which containers can SRAML monoblocks be used? SRAML monoblocks can be configured for glass bottles, PET / plastic bottles or aluminium cans, with different closure types. The containers can be handled by the body or by the neck for PET bottles with neck rings. What is the difference between ECO line and STANDARD line monoblocks? ECO line monoblocks are designed as simple, robust and cost-effective solutions for lower capacities, easy to use and maintain. STANDARD line monoblocks offer more advanced features, higher flexibility, integrated CIP and a higher level of automation while remaining user-friendly. Does SRAML also offer Bag-in-Box filling solutions? Yes. SRAML offers Bag-in-Box fillers as part of its juice processing portfolio, which can be combined with pasteurizers for hot-fill juice and cider packaging.

Project Design, Customisation & Integration

Every SRAML project begins with a clear understanding of your product, capacity goals and facility setup. Through in-house engineering, design and automation, we develop tailored concepts, complete lines or individual machine integrations that match your production needs and long-term growth plans. How does SRAML design a solution for my project? SRAML starts from your product, target capacities and process steps. Based on this, we propose either a complete line or selected machines. Vertical integration of in-house R&D, design, production and programming allows SRAML to adapt equipment and layouts to different facilities and technologies. Can SRAML adapt equipment to my existing production line? Yes. SRAML can supply individual machines and integrate them into existing lines, taking into account your current equipment, utilities, available space and desired automation level. What information does SRAML need to prepare a tailored offer? To prepare a tailored concept and quotation, SRAML usually needs: Desired installation timeline Product types (e.g. still juice, cloudy juice, cider, wine) Target output (per hour / per day and annually) Required process steps (reception, washing, sorting, milling, pressing, fermentation, pasteurization, filling, CIP, etc.) Existing equipment to integrate (if any) Utilities and constraints (space, power supply, steam / hot water, compressed air) Desired installation timeline
